Custom Lake Mapping
Custom Lake Mapping is a new and unique service
offered by Green Algae Control. Through the use of a custom GPS system
coupled with a precision Humminbird Depth Sounder we are able to take
detailed real life data readings. Our state of the art software uses
this data to output these custom maps of your lake or pond. The accuracy
of this new system is subperb as it is capable of creating data point as
onften as once per second, the increased number of data points allows
accurate depth readings with GPS precision. Other than the obvious draw
of these custom maps for fishing purposes, this system allows us to take
accurate measurements of area and volume. This is critical information
for planning and executing herbicide applications. Infact in some cases
we have even been able to reduce the amount of products used and reduce
our customers chemical costs as a direct result of the information
gathered in this process.
